Going outside doesn&#8217;t bring unexpectedness. That&#8217;s why I like travelling and living abroad. Every day feels like an adventure, at least in the beginning, until I get into a habit and routine. Walking the same streets, going to the same shops, seeing the same people. Novelty brings excitement; familiarity brings comfort, stability, and safety. What do I want?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But that&#8217;s not right either. I do not know everything in Gothenburg. I can still go outside and meet people I know on the street, which is a pleasant surprise (as long as I feel I look good). There are so many bars, restaurants, and caf\u00e9s I haven&#8217;t been to yet. Tonight I&#8217;m going to a new jazz place I&#8217;ve never been to but have heard about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, it&#8217;s not about the place. It&#8217;s about the habits and routines I develop associated with a place. I can change that.
