    The moleskin classic leather notebook is made with a cover that looks very professional and classic. The cover is also a softcover, which means that it’s bendable and flexible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is also made with reliable bookbinding. This is important to make sure that none of the pages will fall off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It’s also quite affordable at only $17.95.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    However, the only minus is that it may not always take fountain pen ink well. But if you don’t use watery fountain pen inks, then this notebook is perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This notebook looks absolutely stunning and features a unique antique look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The cover is made of PU leather, which is an artificial leather (faux leather), which is considered vegan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    So, if you’re into avoiding animal-products then this can be a great choice for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The notebook also is a refillable<\/strong> leather notebook so that you can keep using it for many years. It’s also more environmentally friendly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Leuchtturm1917 Softcover A5 Notebook<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Leuchtturm1917 is my absolute favorite notebook brand, especially for fountain pens. Their notebooks have no problem dealing with fountain pen inks or brush pens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The leather-look-alike cover is a softcover which means that it’s flexible and that it’s easy to lay the notebook flat when writing. But they are available in hardcover as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It also comes with a creative content\/index first page (see the second image). I find this page really useful when I’m using the notebook for work or study to assign chapters\/lectures\/meetings to page numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Rhodia Hard Cover Notebook <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The paper on the Rhodia Notebooks is what makes them special. I have used fountain pen ink, brush pens, and even watercolor on these pages and they take everything well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The cover is made to imitate leather, and does it feels and looks great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I also think that these Rhodia Hardcover notebooks are really sturdy and I’m not afraid of throwing it in the bag and bring it on-the-go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
